Vestas 2 MW platform is the most widely applied platform in the history of wind energy. The latest introduction of the V116-2.1 MW™ and the V120-2.2 MW™ strengthens the performance of the 2 MW platform, delivering more stable energy production and a higher power output at lower wind speeds. Since the introduction of the Vestas 2 MW platform in 2000, technology improvements have increased Annual Energy Production by up to 40 percent. With the addition of larger rotors the platform has been expanded, offering a competitive selection of turbines for all wind segments.This video takes an in-depth look on the latest upgrade to our 2 MW platform and how we are making wind work harder.
