Vestas has received its first Australian order for the largest turbine in its product line, the V150-4.2MW.
Further cooperation confirms success of strategic focus on service maintenance
Australian-based Palisade Investment Partners Limited (Palisade) has placed a 112 MW turnkey order with Vestas for the Granville Harbour Wind Farm in Tasmania, Australia.
Vestas has received an order for the 228 MW Lal Lal Wind Farm, located in Victoria, Australia, which is owned by a partnership comprising InfraRed Capital Partners, Macquarie Capital and Northleaf Capital. The Lal Lal Wind Farm is the first project Vestas has worked on with the project partners in Australia and includes a 30-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.
- The company has been awarded an EPC contract for the entire project, which will encompass a wind farm with 56 turbines and a 20 MW / 34 MWh lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery
