The ultra-high resolution aerial surveys will provide crucial baseline data for environmental impact assessments and are being carried out by APEM and Normandeau Inc. on behalf of developer Equinor.

The AXYS FLiDAR WindSentinel is a floating LiDAR solution that will measure wind speed and direction to help determine the best locations and positions for wind turbines on the federally leased area.
