The Kriegers Flak – Combined Grid Solution (CGS) project will establish the world’s first offshore interconnection by linking the Danish and the German transmission grids in combination with the infrastructure of offshore wind farm grid connections.
The European Commission has designated the interconnection as a Project of Common Interest (PCI). Additionally, the interconnector project is subsidised by the European Energy Programme for Recovery.

Tractebel is part of the Consortium that has been awarded a contract for the construction and installation of the Seamade offshore wind farms in the North Sea.
