We will be attending Blade O&M Europe from 12th to 14th March at the Hotel Novotel, Amsterdam. Natural Power is also sponsoring this WindPower Monthly event.

Craig Gordon, Global Head of Inspections and Andre Louise-Ferdinand, Senior Engineer (Inspection Services) at Natural Power, will be joint-chairing the roundtable session ‘Inspection and repair in challenging environments’ which takes place at 16.15hrs on 14th March. The session will discuss what is available in terms of automated drone inspections and the cost-benefit of introducing this approach.

Natural Power’s expert inspections team offers a proactive approach to wind turbine maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure maximum output. The team will be on hand throughout the event to discuss how this approach is beneficial in providing an efficient and cost-effective maintenance plan. As sponsors of this event, Natural Power has its own meeting space so if you are keen to discuss your project or seek specialist advice, please contact us to pre-arrange a meeting sayhello@naturalpower.com

Blade O&M Europe attracts a diverse range of blade enthusiasts from all over the world. With an exponential increase in blade length, the development and adoption of new technology, and the interest in new sites in new markets, the European wind industry has never been more competitive. Between satisfying regulatory requirements and negotiating with investors and insurers, wind farm development and operations requires more information about blades, from cost-benefit of larger blades to warranty details to ensure they are operating to the fullest capability for the full asset lifetime. Blade O&M Europe offers owner/operators the opportunity to discuss experiences with blade operations and maintenance in the context of new technologies and market pressures.

The event aims to help visitors discover how to reduce OPEX and CAPEX through predictive maintenance and lifetime extension, manage damage risk and reduce costs of blade failure, and optimise energy output through developments in blade design.
